Seeking an Energetic, Hospitality-Minded Couple

April–October 2027 | Fair Oaks, Indiana

Are you and your partner ready for a seasonal adventure filled with hard work, outdoor living, and meaningful connections with guests from across the country?

Oak Lake RV Resort is seeking an energetic couple to join our team for the 2027 season. We’re looking for two dependable, hardworking people with complementary skills who enjoy helping others and take pride in creating a clean, welcoming, and memorable campground experience.

Located in Fair Oaks, Indiana—just 65 miles south of Chicago and only two miles off the interstate—Oak Lake is a convenient home base for exploring nearby shopping, dining, entertainment, outdoor recreation, and attractions on your days off.

Position One: Campground Maintenance

We’re seeking a hands-on maintenance professional who can help keep our resort operating safely, smoothly, and beautifully.

Responsibilities may include:

• Plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Sewer-related maintenance
• Carpentry and general repairs
• Routine campground maintenance
• Helping maintain a clean, safe, and attractive property
• Responding to maintenance needs throughout the resort
• Assisting wherever needed to support guests and the team

The ideal candidate has practical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude. You should be comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and tackling a variety of projects.

Position Two: Front Desk/Guest Services or Housekeeping and Activities

This position may be a great fit for someone interested in front desk and guest services or for an individual who prefers housekeeping with some activities assistance.

Front Desk and Guest Services Responsibilities May Include:

• Greeting guests and providing friendly, helpful service
• Managing reservations and front desk responsibilities
• Answering phones with excellent etiquette
• Using computers and campground reservation systems
• Assisting with store merchandise
• Cleaning and maintaining common areas
• Going beyond the front desk to support the overall guest experience

Housekeeping and Activities Responsibilities May Include:

• Cleaning and maintaining eight lodging units and the small shower house
• Completing detailed housekeeping tasks thoroughly and consistently
• Maintaining five-star cleanliness throughout guest areas
• Restocking supplies and reporting maintenance needs
• Helping plan, prepare for, or coordinate guest activities
• Assisting with guest service and other resort needs as needed

Cleanliness and attention to detail are top priorities for the housekeeping role. The ideal candidate is exceptionally clean, thorough, organized, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards throughout the resort.
