JOB SUMMARY

Tupelo Children’s Mansion is seeking a dependable dishwasher to help keep our kitchen clean, organized, and ready for meal service.


WORK SCHEDULE

Part-Time, Monday–Friday, 2:00–6:00 p.m.

Hourly Pay - $12.25


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Wash, sanitize, dry, and put away dishes, utensils, cookware, and serving items.
  2. Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized throughout the shift.
  3. Clean sinks, counters, equipment, and other assigned kitchen areas.
  4. Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
  5. Sweep and mop floors as assigned.
  6. Help set up for and clean up after meals.
  7. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
  8. Report broken equipment, supply needs, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
  9. Assist with other Food Services duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  1. Must affirm and sign our Statement of Faith
  2. Dependable and able to work the scheduled hours.
  3. Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  4. Able to stand for most of the shift and regularly bend, reach, move, and lift kitchen items.
  5. Comfortable working around water, cleaning products, and kitchen equipment.
  6. Willing to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen.
  7. Prior kitchen or dishwashing experience is helpful but not required.
  8. Able to complete the hiring requirements for working on a residential campus with children.
  9. Uphold the fundamental values of Tupelo Children’s Mansion, Inc.
  10. Ability to maintain the strictest of confidentiality.
  11. I agree to follow the Dress Code and appearance standards as a condition of my employment and service.
