As a Staff Accountant in our Finance function within the Spine division, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, analysis, and support for monthly consolidations, while contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the primary contact for the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation of Spine financial results
• Prepare and analyze monthly management reporting for Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements
• Prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and conduct detailed financial analysis
• Provide analytical support during the annual budget and planning processes
• Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and external financial statement audits
• Prepare Federal, State, and other tax packages and filings
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives for journals, reconciliations, and reporting
• Respond to ad-hoc financial analysis and information requests from business unit leaders
• Collaborate with internal teams to promote a culture of inclusiveness, cooperation, and high performance

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller or Manager

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting or Finance required
• 2–3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including designing, building, and maintaining complex files
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and their application
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex accounting issues using independent judgment
• Experience with Oracle ERP and Hyperion Financials is a strong plus
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels
• CPA (or working toward designation) is an asset

Compensation:
Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and performance with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
