We're Hiring a Vice President, Medicare Partnerships to Join Our Team!


Vheda Health is seeking an accomplished payer sales executive to drive our continued growth within the Medicare market.


The VP, Medicare Partnerships will work to represent Vheda’s products and services to nominated Health Plans at both the corporate and market levels.  The VP will promote Vheda’s value proposition to those plans thereby securing contracts to cover ‘lives’ in line with Vheda’s growth goals. 


This person must be comfortable owning the entire sales process from identifying and creating an opportunity through executive engagement, solution development, negotiation, contracting, and close.

Key Responsibilities


Leadership

  • Take responsibility for the development, implementation and execution of a sales strategy to increase the average health plan contract value (ACV) across Vheda’s portfolio

Commercial Positioning

  • Surpass defined growth goals for key client relationships, with measurable outcomes.
  • Develop and refine processes that enhance contract negotiations and business development efforts in the
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to identify and exploit new sales channels while maintaining long-term, strategic relationships with clients.

Growth Accountability & Execution

  • Work closely with the executive team to achieve annual growth targets for the Medicare market, specifically increasing contract value by at least 100% year over year.
  • Continuously evaluate market dynamics and adjust strategies to meet evolving client needs, regulatory environments, and market shifts.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Where appropriate coordinate cross-functional teams to align business strategies with innovation and operational goals, ensuring clear accountability for revenue growth and contract execution.
  • Provide mentorship to internal teams to enhance understanding of Medicare market trends and contract negotiations.

Performance Monitoring

  • Meet and exceed defined key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to contract growth, health plan specific revenue targets, and overall health plan contract expansion.
  • Provide regular performance reports to the executive leadership team, ensuring transparency and proactive problem-solving where goals are unmet.

Required Qualifications


Skills:

  • Relationship building within the client environment is critical to success
  • The ability to influence and work with both internal and external stakeholders is important
  • Deep understanding of Medicare health plans and the landscape, particularly around the contract lifecycles
  • Experience working in or leading a team dedicated to Medicare health plans
  • Proficiency in contract management, negotiation, and expansion strategies
  • Strong ability to influence and negotiate

Knowledge and Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in or around Medicare vendors
  • Specific and demonstrable success in developing client engagement and growth plans
  • Proven track record in delivering growth results measured against a specific plan
  • Able to operate within a collaborative team environment
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to present clear and concise information
  • Strong understanding of developing long term high value client relationships
  • Be the focal point for team questions, business issues, readiness and enablement issues; and ensure an action plan is in place to resolve
  • Provide constructive/analytical feedback and suggestions to sales stakeholders
  • Work with partners for maximum effectiveness and territory expansion
  • Provide timely and insightful input back to other corporate functions, particularly marketing and executive leadership
  • Regular and ad-hoc reporting and business insight

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, physical sciences, or related field. MBA preferred.


Compensation: Base salary plus commission opportunity, with on-target earnings (OTE) of $150,000 annually
