Job Purpose

As the Senior Accountant at VulcanForms Inc., ou will support core accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, analyzing financial data, and supporting inventory and cost accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments as part of the monthly close process.
  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying and resolving variances.
  • Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for key balance sheet accounts.
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and management analyses.
  • Assist with ERP system processes, data validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, and other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Provide audit support by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
  • Help maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls to support accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform additional accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of general accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, Epicor preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reconciliations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

VulcanForms offers a competitive salary and equity package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, VulcanForms provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; generous paid time off; and a 401(k) plan with company match. 


The annual base salary range for this position is $80,805.00 to $111,106.00.
