About The Role & Team

Webull’s Clearing Operations team is a dynamic, back-office group focused on data-driven tasks and research. As an Asset Servicing Senior Associate, you will be part of this team, focused on overseeing and managing the settlement of financial transactions, ensuring that trades are accurately processed, cleared, and settled in accordance with regulatory requirements and Webull policies.


In this position, you will utilize data analysis and reporting tools to clean, analyze, organize, and validate data, ensuring accuracy and operational efficiency. As a member of this team, you will help streamline critical operational processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and enhance the overall efficiency of the team.


In This Role, You Will

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one or more functional areas, including:
    • Trading and Purchase & Sales
    • Stock Position and Cash Operations
    • Option and OCC Operations
    • Corporate Actions and Security Master
    • Stock Record, Segregation, and Security Movements
    • Account Transfers, Cost Basis, and Trade Reporting
  • Develop and maintain desk procedures, controls, and operating standards while identifying opportunities to improve daily processing and operational efficiency.
  • Translate operational requirements into technical specifications and partner with Development and Technology teams through implementation and testing.
  • Play a key role in building and enhancing omnibus clearing processes, procedures, controls, and best practices.
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for the introducing broker-dealer, triaging issues, assessing impacts, and coordinating timely resolution.
  • Execute and oversee core clearing and asset servicing activities, including trade break resolution, margin calls, trade settlement, journals, corporate actions, dividends, ACATS, statement delivery, trade confirmations, proxy delivery, and position and cash reconciliations.
  • Analyze operational errors, trends, and exceptions to identify root causes, control gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and partner with Technology on system enhancements, testing, and UAT.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and operational projects from requirements through implementation and production readiness.

 

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in brokerage, clearing, settlement, or asset servicing operations.
  • Experience working within a clearing omnibus or self-clearing environment.
  • Working knowledge of options clearing and OCC processes, including exercises, assignments, expirations, and position settlement.
  • Strong understanding of applicable regulatory requirements and industry guidance governing brokerage, clearing, settlement, and asset servicing operations.
  • Experience with clearing and brokerage platforms, including Broadridge, Penson/Apex, FIS, or similar systems.
  • Demonstrated ownership of one or more functional operational domains, with strong cross-functional knowledge of the broader clearing environment.
  • Prior production experience within a retail broker dealer.
  • Strong understanding of DTCC settlement processes and post-trade operations.
  • Ability to translate complex operational requirements into clear procedures, controls, and system requirements.

This role is based in our St. Petersburg, FL Global HQ, where in-person collaboration fuels growth, mentorship, and innovation. At Webull, we’re committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. The base salary range is $90,000-115,000 annually, plus a discretionary bonus and full benefits. Final offers consider experience, location, and relevant qualifications.
