About the role

The Overnight Application Monitoring Analyst ensures continuous operation of PureFacts' applications during non-business hours, focusing on data processing and system health monitoring.


What you'll do

Application Monitoring

  • Monitor all PureFacts applications during 11PM – 7AM EST
  • Ensure successful completion of overnight data processing
  • Identify and respond to system alerts and issues
  • Perform regular system health checks

Issue Resolution

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 overnight processing issues
  • Identify Level 2 (infrastructure) and Level 3 (product engineering) issues requiring specialized support
  • Initiate emergency escalation procedures for critical Level 2/3 issues per defined protocols
  • Escalate critical issues to appropriate managers/director, DEVOps & DBA
  • Ensure data availability for start of business day
  • Document all incidents and resolutions

Handover Management

  • Prepare detailed handover reports for day team
  • Document any pending issues or required follow-up
  • Maintain communication logs for all incidents
  • Update relevant stakeholders on overnight activities
  • Implement continuous improvement suggestions based on overnight operations

Qualifications

  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills
  • Basic SQL and server environment knowledge
  • Ability to work independently during overnight hours
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong written communication skills for handover documentation

  • Data processing completion rates
  • Critical issue response time
  • Handover documentation quality
