Position Overview:

As a member of the Consultant Relations team, the Consultant Relations Associate will work closely with and report to the Global Head of Consultant Relations. This individual will support the firm’s relationships with institutional investment consultants by assisting with consultant-related communications, searches, meetings, and projects across the Sales team and internal resource groups. The role is best suited for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment with shifting priorities. This is an internally focused position that requires strong follow-through, interpersonal skills, and a foundational understanding of the institutional asset management landscape.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Support the Global Head of Consultant Relations and broader Sales team in managing relationships and communications with institutional investment consultants.
  • Coordinate consultant-related requests, meetings, searches, and other initiatives, partnering with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate follow-through.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Sales team, consultants, and internal resource groups, including RFP, Research, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Own and support consultant-driven search opportunities, tracking activity from initial notification through the final presentation process.
  • Maintain accurate consultant, opportunity, activity, and relationship information within Salesforce and other relevant databases.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of consultant firms, including their business models, client segments, key decision-makers, investment preferences, and areas of focus.
  • Track and analyze consultant-related activity and metrics, including meetings, ratings, searches, opportunities, and wins, to support reporting and broader sales efforts.
  • Support ad hoc projects and initiatives while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, less structured environment.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within asset management, financial services, consultant relations, sales support, client service, or a related field.
  • Foundational understanding of the institutional asset management landscape.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across internal teams and with external consultants.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce; experience with FactSet and eVestment is preferred but not required.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Salary Range: $110,000- $125,000 Annually  

The actual base salary may vary depending on factors, including, but not limited to location, work experience, education, training, skill level, and market conditions. At Pzena Investment Management, base salary is just one component of the total compensation, which may include, year-end discretionary bonus and employee benefits.
