Job Summary

QC Servion is seeking a Social Media Manager to own the day-to-day social media presence across the QC Ecosystem and organizations supported by our shared marketing function.

This is a hands-on role combining content creation, design, publishing, community engagement, analytics, and strategic thinking. The Social Media Manager will manage content across multiple brands and channels while ensuring each organization maintains its individual voice and contributes to a cohesive ecosystem-wide narrative.

The role requires someone who can quickly learn complex businesses and technical subject matter, translate that information into engaging content, and recognize when social interactions may represent broader client, partnership, media, or business opportunities.

The ideal candidate is highly curious, visually minded, organized, and proactive. We are looking for someone who can take direction and run with it, identify opportunities to improve content and engagement, and increasingly operate independently as they become familiar with our businesses and audiences.

Essential Functions

Content Strategy & Creation

  • Plan and maintain social media content calendars across multiple brands, entities, and channels.
  • Develop original content for LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant or emerging platforms.
  • Translate technical concepts, company updates, industry developments, thought leadership, and business initiatives into engaging social content.
  • Adapt content, messaging, and tone to reflect the individual identity and audience of each brand.
  • Identify new content opportunities and recommend topics, formats, campaigns, and approaches based on business priorities and audience interests.
  • Maintain a consistent publishing cadence while balancing planned campaigns with timely and reactive content.

Design & Video Production

  • Create social graphics and visual assets that align with established brand guidelines.
  • Produce and edit short-form video and support longer-form content as needed.
  • Apply strong visual judgment to ensure content meets quality and brand standards before publication.
  • Maintain reusable templates, brand kits, and creative assets that improve consistency and production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal creative resources and subject-matter experts when specialized content is required.

Multi-Brand Social Media Management

  • Manage day-to-day social activity across a growing portfolio of brands and accounts.
  • Maintain visibility into upcoming campaigns, events, company announcements, and business priorities.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across the organization to gather information and develop timely content.
  • Manage multiple brands, platforms, priorities, and audiences simultaneously without sacrificing quality or consistency.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of each organization and how each fits within the broader QC Ecosystem.

Community Engagement & Inbound Opportunities

  • Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, mentions, and other inbound social activity.
  • Support social engagement for company and assigned executive accounts.
  • Participate appropriately in relevant industry conversations to strengthen visibility and relationships.
  • Recognize interactions that may represent potential client, business development, partnership, media, or relationship opportunities and route them to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Escalate sensitive issues or reputational concerns when appropriate.
  • Maintain a professional, responsive, and consistent brand voice across external interactions.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Monitor audience growth, engagement, content performance, and channel trends.
  • Track and report on established social media KPIs.
  • Use performance data to refine content topics, formats, timing, and channel strategy.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve audience growth and engagement.
  • Stay current on platform changes, algorithms, emerging channels, and social media best practices.
  • Continuously test and recommend new approaches based on performance and organizational priorities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, business development, events, creative teams, leadership, and stakeholders across the QC Ecosystem.
  • Participate in marketing and business discussions to remain connected to organizational priorities and upcoming initiatives.
  • Build relationships with subject-matter experts to identify stories, insights, and content opportunities.
  • Develop enough familiarity with each business to increasingly take ownership of day-to-day social planning and decision-making.

What Success Looks Like

  • Social channels maintain a consistent, professional, and engaging presence across the organization.
  • Each brand maintains its individual identity while supporting the broader QC Ecosystem story.
  • Content calendars remain organized, current, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Engagement and audience growth improve through thoughtful, data-informed content.
  • Comments, messages, and inbound interactions receive timely and appropriate responses.
  • Potential business, partnership, and relationship opportunities identified through social engagement are recognized and routed appropriately.
  • Internal stakeholders view social media as a valuable extension of marketing and business development efforts.
  • The Social Media Manager increasingly operates independently and proactively identifies opportunities rather than relying solely on assigned requests.

Position Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, content marketing, digital marketing, brand marketing, or a related area; equivalent demonstrated experience may be considered.
  • Experience independently managing content across multiple social media channels and preferably multiple brands, business units, or clients.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to quickly understand complex or technical information and translate it for external audiences.
  • Strong visual judgment and working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or comparable design platforms.
  • Experience creating and editing short-form video and other platform-native content.
  • Strong proficiency with LinkedIn and familiarity with X, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Experience using social media scheduling, content calendar, analytics, and project management tools.
  • Strong community management skills with the judgment to determine when an interaction requires escalation or broader internal follow-up.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple brands, channels, deadlines, and stakeholder requests.
  • Highly curious and adaptable, with the ability to quickly learn unfamiliar businesses, industries, services, and technical concepts.
  • Proactive working style with the judgment and confidence to recommend ideas, identify opportunities, and move work forward independently.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI and emerging technologies to support research, ideation, content creation, and workflow efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B, engineering, infrastructure, energy, technology, industrial, data center, or other technical environments.
  • Experience managing social media across a multi-brand organization, agency portfolio, or multiple business units.
  • Experience supporting executive social media or thought-leadership accounts.
  • Familiarity with paid social campaigns and content amplification.
  • Photography or videography experience for events, client sites, or company activities.
  • Experience collaborating with business development or sales teams and connecting social media activity to broader commercial objectives.
