As a Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the restaurant industry by introducing innovative energy management and equipment orchestration solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs) and Fast Casual, and multi-location restaurant operators, helping them transition to smarter, more efficient kitchens. You will serve as the subject matter expert for our IoT based platform, collaborating closely with the existing sales force to identify and close cross-sell and upsell opportunities within our current customer base. At Qu you will:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets, with a focus on energy and equipment management in the restaurant industry.
- Identify and prospect restaurant operators and franchisees, focusing on quick-service and fast casual restaurants.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on smart kitchen technology, providing guidance and support to sales colleagues in identifying and qualifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing customer accounts.
- Collaborate closely with account managers and field sales teams to formulate joint selling strategies, ensuring seamless integration of the smart kitchen offering into ongoing sales cycles.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals tailored to meet the needs of potential clients.
- Regularly interface with product marketing and product management to stay current on feature updates, competitive differentiators, and success stories, and then cascade this knowledge to the broader sales force.
- Participate in restaurant industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase our products and network with potential clients and partners.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial and profitable outcomes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and customer support, to ensure seamless customer onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM software.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to the management team.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven track record of at least 3 years in B2B sales, with experience in the restaurant industry required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Tech-savvy and proficient in using sales tools and CRM software to manage leads and customer data.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
