About the role:

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our growing SaaS company and lead core accounting operations. This role will be responsible for overseeing various areas of the monthly close, ensuring accurate financial reporting under U.S. GAAP, and supporting revenue recognition and process scalability as the business grows. You’ll partner closely with Finance, FP&A, Legal, and Operations while managing and developing a high-performing accounting team.


Responsibilities include:

  • Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Supervise staff and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Assist in SaaS revenue recognition under ASC 606, including contract reviews and deferred revenue accounting
  • Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, existence testing, and disposals
  • Participate in the identification and calculation of accruals
  • Maintain and improve accounting processes, systems, and controls to support scalability and future growth
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to become a trusted resource
  • Support annual external audits and act as a key point of contact for auditors
  • Manage, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team
  • Additional ad hoc tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Experience managing a team
  • Experience using and managing a full cycle ERP system and procurement system (e.g., QuickBooks, Ramp)
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel up to 15% for quarterly team meet ups and company events
  • Experience in a high-growth company and/or SaaS industry
  • SOX or internal controls experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance


The pay range for this role is:

90,000 - 125,000 USD per year (Remote (United States))
