Role and Responsibilities

The Pricing Associate I will support the Pricing Team in delivering accurate, timely, and scalable pricing solutions for renewable energy asset management services. This role plays a critical part in supporting commercial bids, financial analysis, and ongoing corporate finance reporting across the organization.

 

This Associate will work closely with Sales and Operations teams to help translate customer requirements, asset characteristics, and operational scope into pricing outputs that support competitive bids and strategic decision‑making. This position is ideal for an early‑career professional with a background or strong interest in renewable energy who is looking to build analytical, modeling, and stakeholder communication skills.

 

Responsibilities Includes:


Pricing Analysis & Execution Support

  • Support the preparation of pricing models for new business opportunities by analyzing customer‑specific renewable energy assets and service requirements, translating operational scope into cost drivers and pricing assumptions.
  • Participate in internal pricing discussions and present recommendations on cost, margin, and price to enable leadership decision‑making
  • Run defined pricing scenarios based on provided assumptions, perform scenario and sensitivity analyses
  • Analyze customer requirements and asset characteristics to develop financial models that support accurate and competitive pricing proposals.

Pricing Models & Data Management

  • Maintain and update a historical repository of pricing data and relevant comparables to support future bids and benchmarking
  • Collaborate with operations team to lead annual assumption refresh process based on inputs, historical performance, and market learnings
  • Assist with process improvements, documentation updates, and template efficiencies

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Refresh pricing inputs and assumptions via collaboration with operations teams.  
  • Support recurring corporate deliverables such as quarterly profitability reporting
  • Deliver on ad hoc analyses and requests where needed

 Market & Competitive Research

  • Collect and consolidate competitor pricing and market data.
  • Track pricing trends, customer feedback, and commercial insights.
  • Summarize findings to support pricing reviews and discussions.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (Renewable Energy, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field).
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in renewable energy fields, pricing, finance, analytics, operations, consulting, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy concepts
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, basic financial models).

  • Foundational understanding on renewable energy and/or asset management operations.

Analytical & Technical Skills

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Exposure to renewable energy or related services

Communication & Collaboration

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global stakeholders.
  • Comfortable documenting analysis and sharing insights.

Customer & Business Orientation

  • Willingness to learn pricing strategy and commercial concepts.
  • Understands the impact of pricing on customers and business outcomes.
  • Supports decisions that balance accuracy, value, and efficiency.

Who can apply

  • Pre-Sales / Sales Support – Renewable Energy - Pre-Sales Executive, Sales Support Analyst, Bid Support Analyst, or Proposal Coordinator in renewable energy or technical services.
  • Operations / Asset Management Analyst – Renewable Energy - Asset Management Analyst, Operations Analyst, Performance Analyst, or O&M Analyst in solar/wind portfolios.
  • O&M Costing / Estimation Analyst – Renewable Energy - Costing Analyst, Estimation Engineer (Junior), or O&M Cost Analyst supporting renewable energy portfolios.

 

 PREFERRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Background or hands‑on exposure to renewable energy, asset management, or power markets
  • Experience translating operational or technical concepts into financial or pricing analyses.
  • Experience working with Excel-based financial models
  • Familiarity with contracts, commercial documentation, or deal support.


Strong preference for candidates from the renewable energy industry, particularly Financial Analysts or professionals with demonstrated pricing and commercial analysis expertise
