About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our vibrant team in San Francisco. This role requires an individual who is enthusiastic, fosters effective team leadership, builds cross-functional relationships within the company and is self-directed. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple project teams and multiple construction projects in the San Francisco area and ensuring their successful delivery.

What You'll Do

  • 4-days in our San Francisco office
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams supporting client initiatives, including Collaboration with the transaction team during site selection and participate in the lease review and lease negotiations.
  • Lead end-to-end management of build-outs for clients including but not limited to selection of vendors, material procurement, interior design, program design, installation, and commissioning and closeout (design, construction, technology, FF&E).
  • Conduct regular project status meetings to align with client on project success and provide status reports to senior management.
  • Sets agendas and leads project meetings.
  • Ensure effective communication with project team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure timely and accurate project updates.
  • Consistently deliver quality customer service for clients by preparing scope of work, budget, work plan schedule, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Manage project teams, to oversee all aspects of construction project management, including budgeting, scheduling, design, construction, and closeout.
  • Develop project management plans and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing issues as they arise.
  • Develop, update and manage overall project budgets and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project risks and development of mitigation plans to minimize impact.
  • Establish cost control procedures and forecasting.
  • Full ownership over progress of multiple projects against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines.
  • Lead the stakeholders, including contractors, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project success and establish project goals.
  • Assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders to determine impacts to the overall project.
  • Responsible for the review of vendor contracts, change orders and monthly invoicing**.**
  • Provide effective leadership to internal project team members, including mentoring, coaching, and guidance.
  • Actively participate in business development and networking opportunities.
  • Develop and execute project proposals.
  • Support projects across the Bay Area and other geographies as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience within commercial real estate, with at least 3 years in a construction project management role.
  • Self-motivated with ability to navigate competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Expert knowledge of design and construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
  • Proven track record in effectively building and managing project budgets and schedules.
  • Understanding of and proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Approaches projects with a client-oriented service mindset
  • Strong organizational skills and tracking mechanisms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

The pay range for this role is:

160,000 - 180,000 USD per year (San Francisco Office)
