Key Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Load and unload goods onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securement of items.
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and fuel consumption, taking into account traffic conditions and delivery schedules.
• Execute deliveries according to schedule, delivering goods accurately and promptly to assigned locations.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers upon delivery, handling inquiries, and concerns in a friendly manner.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery, mileage logs, and any relevant paperwork.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on delivery vehicles, reporting any issues or malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain open communication with dispatchers and supervisors, providing updates on delivery status and any issues encountered.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including vehicle weight limits, driver hours-of-service regulations, and licensing requirements.
• Familiarize yourself with the products being delivered, including handling instructions and special requirements.
