Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Associate to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our e-commerce website and ensure that our customers receive an exceptional experience. In order to achieve that, the Associate will work closely with 200+ diamond vendors from Bombay, Surat, Hong Kong, Belgium & USA, as well as with jewelry manufacturers, to ensure that the supply chain is running smoothly.

The candidate will also monitor our distribution centers in the heart of NY and Bombay to ensure efficient order processing and timely shipping.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing key communications & dispute handling with all vendors.
  • Ensuring timely payments & credits reconciliation with all vendors.
  • Coordinate with the customer support team to ensure that customer inquiries are answered in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work with logistics partners to ensure that shipments are on schedule & help manage expedite requests when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of all shipments and logistics activities.
  • Report potential delays and blockages to the Director of Operations before time and come up with solutions to prevent them in future.
  • Utilize Excel, Google sheets and other software to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the returns process and manage reverse logistics.
  • Collaborate with the customer support team to address any issues related to returns
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using Excel and other software tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of the diamond industry is a plus.
  • Startup experience is a big plus

Working Hours 7:30 pm - 3:30 am IST (US EST Timing)
