Responsibilities in Customer Work

As a Consultant - Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping Ravus’ solutions and contributing to the success of our projects. You’ll work closely with a team, applying your expertise to solve complex problems while sharing knowledge and collaborating with others. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a team environment and enjoys making a meaningful impact through technical contributions. Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and technical requirements
• Design and develop software solutions to address client needs, with a focus on integrations to billing and revenue management applications
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in software engineering, particularly in the areas of payment processing and billing systems
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverable.

Responsibilities within the Ravus Team

As a Consultant - Software Engineer, you’ll contribute to Ravus’ solutions by developing innovative software and solving complex challenges. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys sharing knowledge, and is eager to make a direct impact through hands-on technical work. Responsibilities include:

• Cultivate, grow, and lead Ravus' software engineering practice, tools, and methodology
• Provide thought leadership to our customers and market in the form of webinars, podcasts, and/or written viewpoints

**Experience:**

You Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, particularly in the context of API integrations.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices
• Familiarity with webhooks and event-driven architectures
• Proficiency in SQL and SQL-like database languages

Additional Preferred Experience

• Implementation and integration experience with common SaaS quoting and billing applications
• Extensive experience working with Stripe API
• Extensive experience in Salesforce API
• Extensive experience developing and deploying on the Salesforce platform using apex and Flow.
• Proficiency in BillingPlatform API and data models for complex Billing scenarios
• Development experience in common iPaaS solutions (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Workato, etc.)
• Experience integrating web applications with third-party SaaS billing and payment processing applications.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects involving payment processing, billing, and CRM integration.
