SENIOR DESIGNER

OVERVIEW:

As a Senior Digital Designer at Chemistry, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and user experience of our digital products. You will lead the design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling and user-centric designs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating visually stunning and effective digital solutions, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for pushing the limits of design innovation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design Leadership: Lead the design vision for digital projects, ensuring a cohesive and visually compelling user experience across various platforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, developers, and marketers, to translate project requirements into engaging digital designs.
• Conceptualization: Ideate and conceptualize design solutions that align with project goals and user needs, providing creative direction and guidance to junior designers.
• Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate and test design concepts, iterating based on user feedback and usability testing.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure the digital designs align with the overall brand strategy and maintain consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools, incorporating innovative practices into the design process.
• Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure the final deliverables meet the highest standards of design excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through a combination of formal education/training in graphic design, digital design, or related, and relevant work experience.
• Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in digital design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful digital projects.
• Expertise: Proficient in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch. Knowledge of prototyping tools is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with web development technologies and constraints, understanding how design decisions impact development.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead design projects, mentor junior designers, and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome design challenges.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate and present design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
