The Company’s current property portfolio comprises over 80 projects and more than 18 million square feet of office, industrial and retail space—both in Colorado and in select markets nationwide.  We are also continuing to expand the company’s acquisition initiative into other national markets.  This position will be involved in our expanding real estate portfolio—both here in Colorado and in other national markets.

 

About the role

The Treasury Assistant is a key piece of the corporate accounting department and supports the organization by managing the third-party accounts payable system, processing invoices and related payments through the AP system, preparing bank deposits and preparing bank reconciliations.


What you'll do

·         Accounts Payable

o   Process and monitor invoices through the AP system to ensure timely and accurate approvals

o   Process payments to vendors through the accounting and AP system

o   Prepare 1099 forms annually

o   Prepare requests for funding to meet AP cash requirements

·         Accounts Receivable

o   Prepare bank deposits for all checks received

o   Record bank deposits in accounting system

o   Reconcile daily banking deposits

·         Bank Reconciliations

o   Prepare reconciliations for all RCS and related family office entities

o   Assist with downloading bank statements as needed

·         Other

o   Investigate and resolve discrepancies with cash transactions

o   Assist with various treasury-related items as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s degree required, bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
  • Minimum of 1 – 3 years of accounting/accounts payable experience
  • Detail oriented with ability to work in fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Strong ability to identify and correct errors
  • Solid understanding and skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
