About the role

As a Strategic Account Manager at Rearc, your role is pivotal in driving the growth of our cloud, data, and machine learning consulting business within the Financial Services Industry (FSI). You will play a vital part in cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new opportunities, and aligning our solutions with the strategic objectives of our clients.

You possess a keen business acumen, capable of discerning priorities and making sound judgments when necessary. As a diligent self-starter, you leverage emotional and cultural intelligence to make sense of customer needs effectively. You're exceptionally skilled at communicating and building relationships. Furthermore, you have a knack for envisioning the broader picture and are motivated by long-term objectives.

What You'll Do: 

  • Oversee multiple strategic accounts with ARR exceeding $3 million each, aiming to increase revenues by 50% year over year.

  • Focus on aligning Rearc’s service offerings with the business and technology initiatives of clients.

  • Work closely with sales engineers to identify and capitalize on new opportunities within strategic accounts.

  • Lead the development of account strategies to drive growth and foster long-term partnerships.

  • Establish and expand connections with C-level executives and top-level leaders within enterprise clients.

  • Deliver presentations to high-level executives and provide insights into technology strategy and business environment.

  • Work closely with clients to understand their business processes and define strategic objectives.


To excel in this role as a Strategic Account Executive at Rearc, you should bring a wealth of experience and expertise in sales, relationship management, and the technology landscape. Below are the qualifications and skills we're looking for:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in selling professional services or software solutions within the Cloud, Infrastructure, or Data domain.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, adapting quickly to changing priorities and dynamics.

  • Direct experience with AWS, GCP, Databricks, or a related enablement partner is essential.

  • Proven track record of leveraging C-level relationships with executives to drive business outcomes.

  • Experience in managing large commercial and legal discussions, and collaborating with procurement, legal, and business teams.

  • Experience in managing vendor relationships in complex implementation projects within the Financial Services & Insurance industry is preferred.

  • Ability to work effectively with sales engineers and customer technical leads to develop migration plans and build business cases.

  • Previous experience in sales and relationship management within a technology platform or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) context.

  • Strong understanding of various cloud technologies (PaaS and IaaS) and Data services, facilitating seamless technology adoption.

  • Ability to engage with diverse audiences, including developer communities and C-level IT and business leaders.

  • Driven by strategic goals and capable of working towards their attainment.

  • Willingness to travel, with this role potentially involving up to 25% travel.

Your first few weeks at Rearc will be spent in an immersive learning environment where our team will help you get up to speed. Within the first few months, you’ll have the opportunity to experiment with a lot of different tools as you find your place on the team.

The pay range for this role is:

130,000 - 160,000 USD per year (NomadWorks: Virtual Office)
