What You Bring

We're looking for a seasoned professional with a strong technical background and a collaborative spirit. Your qualifications should include:

• Extensive GCP Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with core GCP services such as GKE, BigQuery, BigLake, DataFlow, PubSub, GCS, IAM, Cloud Run, Cloud Workflows, Spanner, and designing multi-account architectures.
• Kubernetes Proficiency: Strong command of Kubernetes, including GKE integrations, job scheduling, Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs), security, and service account federation with IAM.
• Infrastructure-as-Code Mastery: Proficient in IaC tools like Terraform, KCC, CDK, CDKTF, and other infrastructure management solutions.
• Networking Acumen: Expertise in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid networking environments, coupled with strong network controls.
• Secure & Regulated Environment Experience: Proven experience working in highly secure or regulated environments, with a focus on monitoring, network security, and identity federation.
• Developer Experience Enhancement: Experience with local development environment virtualization and improving developer experience through abstraction interfaces.
• Policy as Code: Practical experience implementing Policy as Code practices.
• Secure SDLC Pipelines: Extensive experience building secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) pipelines, including image build, artifact signing, vulnerability scanning, artifact repository architecture, continuous integration, and deployment.
• Large-Scale Enterprise Experience: Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments that demand highly secure and scalable infrastructure patterns.
• Programming Proficiency: Proficiency in Python and/or Java.
• Observability Tools: Experience with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Exceptional Communication: Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative team-player mindset.
• Growth Mindset: A strong desire for continuous learning and professional growth.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you'll be instrumental in shaping cloud strategy for our customers and ensuring their infrastructure is at the cutting edge. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Assessment & Guidance: Evaluate existing customer infrastructure, providing expert guidance to enhance cloud infrastructure, strengthen security posture, improve automation, and optimize developer experience.
• AI Service Enablement: Enable and optimize GCP AI services such as Vertex AI, Gemini, model serving, vector stores, and more, building upon a robust GCP cloud foundation to drive secure and effective AI adoption within the enterprise.
• CI/CD Pipeline Design & Management: Architect, develop, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment to the cloud, always adhering to security and cloud computing best practices.
• Infrastructure Automation: Leverage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools to automate the deployment of immutable infrastructure, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
• Performance & Scalability Assurance: Continuously monitor and ensure that performance and scale requirements are met across all environments.
• Continuous Learning & Knowledge Sharing: Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices through ongoing learning and professional development. Share your insights and expertise with Rearc engineers, customer engineers, and the broader community.
