As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Rearc, you will play a key role in designing and building modern, cloud-native platforms that are reliable, scalable, and secure. This is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and the ability to implement solutions in highly regulated enterprise environments. You’ll work closely with our engineering team and customers to solve complex challenges while maintaining a strong focus on scalability, security, and best practices.

What You Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience (AWS preferred; GCP or Azure as a bonus), including expertise in compute, storage, networking, and security services.
- Strong knowledge of AWS CDK, IAM, and S3.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and containerization tools such as Docker or Amazon ECS.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and experience implementing infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Solid programming skills in a high-level language such as Python or JavaScript.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CodePipeline.
- Bonus: Knowledge of data engineering tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Glue, and experience with large-scale data ingestion pipelines.
- A proactive attitude with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native platforms, focusing on reliability, scalability, and security.
- Evaluate customers’ existing infrastructure and provide recommendations for improving their cloud architecture, security posture, and developer experience.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure and efficient deployment of applications to cloud environments.
- Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools to automate the deployment of robust and immutable infrastructure.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud engineering, sharing insights and knowledge with your team and the broader engineering community.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that solve real-world problems.
