As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Rearc, you're at the forefront of fostering trust and accountability within our cloud infrastructure team. Your deep technical know-how empowers you to fine-tune processes for maximum efficiency, scalability, and sustainability across key areas like compute, storage, networking, security services, and cloud-native best practices. What You Bring


  • Extensive experience with GCP services such as BigLake, GCS, IAM, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Workflows, Spanner, and multi-account architectures.

  • Proficient with Kubernetes: GKE integrations, job scheduling, Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs), security, and service account federation with IAM.

  • Skilled in using IaC tools such as Terraform, CDK, CDKTF, KCC, and other infrastructure management solutions.

  • Expertise in cloud/on-premises/hybrid networking environments with strong network controls.

  • Experience working in highly secure or regulated environments, focusing on monitoring, network security and identity federation.

  • Experience in local development environment virtualization and improving developer experience.

  • Proficiency in Java.

  • Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.

  • A thirst for knowledge and a passion for continuous learning.


What You'll Do


  • Assess customers’ existing infrastructure and provide guidance on enhancing their cloud infrastructure, security posture, automation, and developer experience.

  • Design, develop, and manage CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications to cloud infrastructure while upholding security and cloud computing best practices.

  • Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools to automate the deployment of immutable infrastructure. 

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices through continuous learning and professional development.

  • Share knowledge and insights with Rearc engineers, customer engineers, and the broader community.
