Role Description

We are seeking a leader and highly analytical Director of Business Intelligence with a strong focus on data visualization and expertise in Domo (or Tableau/Power BI), to join our team. As a Director of Business Intelligence, you will be leading a team responsible for extracting, transforming, and presenting data insights to drive informed business decisions for our leadership team and Brand Partners. Your primary focus will be on creating visually compelling dashboards and reports using Domo to provide actionable insights to various stakeholders within the organization.

In this role you will report directly to the SVP of Enterprise Analytics and will be based at the Company’s office in Deerfield Beach, FL. This is an in-person, office-based role. We work on a hybrid model, with employees in the office Monday - Wednesday, and remote on Thursday and Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Extraction and Transformation:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements.
  • Extract and transform data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets) to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Implement data cleansing and data quality checks as necessary.

• Data Modeling and Analysis:

  • Develop data models and perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Translate business requirements into data queries and reports using Domo's data modeling capabilities.
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to answer specific business questions.

• Domo Dashboard and Report Development:

  • Design and create visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports in Domo.
  • Customize Domo cards, pages, and layouts to present data effectively.
  • Implement best practices for data visualization, ensuring clarity and usability.

• Data Integration and Automation:

  • Automate data integration processes within Domo to ensure up-to-date insights.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to streamline data retrieval and reporting.

• Stakeholder Communication:

  • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and requirements.
  • Present findings and insights in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on how to navigate and utilize Domo dashboards.

• Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Monitor the performance of Domo dashboards and reports, optimizing them for speed and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to data visualization and Domo usage.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science or other related fields
• 5+ years of experience specifically within Business Intelligence focused role or other data centric position
• Demonstrated working experience utilizing Domo's data modelling, card design, and data integration functionalities.
• Proven proficiency utilizing SQL and/or Python for data extraction and analysis
• Working experience with data visualization tools and best practices, along with the demonstrated ability to problem-solving and analysis along the pathway to data visualization and findings.  

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field of study
• Excellent communications skills with the ability to work along side cross-functional teams to get things done
• Experience communicating and presenting data analysis findings to senior leadership, and the ability to use those findings to influence business strategies and direction
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
