Role Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement automation strategies to optimize the performance of shrink wrap machines.
• Monitor and analyze machine performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth integration of shrink wrap machine automation into our production processes.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of shrink wrap machines to ensure optimal functionality.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices for operating and maintaining shrink wrap machines.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in shrink wrap machine automation technology.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operating and maintaining shrink wrap machines or conveyors, with at least 2 years in a high quantity production facility.
• In-depth knowledge of shrink wrap machine automation systems and processes.
• Proven experience utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills to improve machine capabilities or solve machine issues.
• Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and communicating progress updates to various internal stakeholders.

• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of conveyor systems and other packaging equipment.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Certification in shrink wrap machine operation and maintenance.
