Role Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our company as a Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective management of inventory, and leading a team of warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products
- Ensure accurate inventory management and conduct regular stock checks
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity
- Train and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Maintain records of warehouse activities, including inventory levels, orders, and shipments
- Identify and address any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
- Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience working in a warehouse, with at least 4 years of experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role
- Must be able to bend, stand/reach, pull, lift and carry objects in the warehouse
- Proven experience managing staff, training and supervising a team
- Proven/demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems
- This person must be able to work our night shift rotation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior knowledge of NetSuite
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain
- Additional certifications or trainings in warehouse management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever changing environment
