Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our company as a Returns Manager. As the Returns Manager, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the process of customer returns and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. This is a critical role that requires exceptional organizational skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric mindset. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire returns process, including receiving, inspecting, and processing returned products.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to resolve customer issues related to returns in a timely manner.

  • Develop and implement returns policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.

  • Coordinate with various departments, such as warehouse and inventory management, to ensure seamless returns operations.

  • Monitor return trends and identify areas for improvement in product quality, packaging, or customer communication.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to analyze return data and develop strategies to reduce return rates.

  • Maintain accurate records of returns, including reasons for return, product condition, and any associated costs.

  • Provide regular reports and analysis on returns performance to management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years experience in returns management or a similar role.

  • Proven experience with returns processes, policies, and industry best practices, while also consistently working to improve/optimize each aspect or receiving/sorting returned products.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities while managing a fast paced returns function.

  • Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in analyzing data and generating reports.

  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on providing excellent service.
