About the role

We are seeking an Account Manager to join our growing Wholesale Department. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with wholesale partners, ensuring seamless order fulfillment, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has experience working with procurement and management teams in hotels, corporate offices, college & university campuses, and food and beverage establishments.

Reporting to the National Account Executive, this position collaborates closely with the Wholesale team and Coffee Educator to onboard, train, and conduct quality audits for our wholesale accounts, including foodservice providers, hospitals, airports, and high-end hotels and resorts. This role requires strong account management, customer service, and sales skills, along with the ability to navigate logistics and drive growth in the foodservice sector.

This is a full-time, in-office role requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week.


What you'll do

  • New Account Setup – Support onboarding of new accounts by coordinating initial orders, equipment installation, marketing materials, and account setup documentation.
  • Training & Quality Assurance – Ensure new accounts receive thorough training on our brewing programs (drip, espresso, teas, ice blends), quality standards, and ordering processes. Conduct routine quality audits to uphold Red Bay Coffee’s brand standards.
  • Account Management – Maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners through regular business reviews, seasonal promotions, and equipment servicing.
  • Operational Coordination – Work closely with the logistics and order fulfillment teams to ensure timely and accurate order deliveries. Partner with the coffee education team for training programs and site visits.
  • Sales & Growth Support – Assist in sales initiatives, including tastings, trade shows, and promotional events. Drive account growth by identifying opportunities for product expansion and increased sales.
  • Documentation & Organization – Maintain accurate account records, including key contacts, ordering patterns, equipment details, and marketing collateral.


Qualifications

  • Passion for specialty coffee and a commitment to working for a mission-driven company.
  • 4+ years of experience in account management, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of wholesale coffee programs, foodservice operations, or hospitality.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, manage multiple accounts, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and experience with CRM software.
  • Knowledge of the specialty coffee industry and wholesale operations is a plus.
