We are looking to hire baristas and shift leaders, for our locations in the Fruitvale and Lake Merritt of Oakland, as well as our cafe in Berkeley. We are currently hiring for part-time hourly positions who will report to our Assistant Cafe Manager. In the role of Barista, your responsibilities would first include tasting coffee daily, educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items, and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have strong customer service skills, enjoy interacting with diverse groups of people, be dependable, reliable, and love coffee. You should also be able to work various shifts, including weekends.
Ultimately, you will ensure we provide an excellent experience for our guests.
