WORK HOURS: At least 3 Sundays every month, approximately 3–4 hours each week from
9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and occasionally from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (with occasional additional
training sessions).
LOCATION: West Side YMCA
BAND: 4
WAGE RANGE: $30-$33/per hour
JOB SUMMARY
The Redeemer Lincoln Square (LSQ) Sunday Morning Teacher plays a key role in the spiritual formation of children from 25 months old through 5th grade at LSQ. This role involves implementing gospel-centered curriculum, creating engaging and age-appropriate classroom environments and helping children grow in their understanding of God’s love. Teachers are expected to attend at least one curriculum training led by LSQ staff, lead with energy and care and partner with parents in the discipleship of their children.
