The Care Logistics Operations Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the provider care team (Medical Assistants) within a dynamic 24/7 business environment, as well as supporting the Care Logistics Department with training and other support. This position requires a strong foundation in operational management, experience in coaching and team development, and exceptional customer service skills. A background in healthcare, along with experience in departmental training and quality assurance, is highly desirable.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and supervise the coordination and processing of team tasks such as prescription and lab orders, referrals, member follow-ups, benefit inquiries, virtual clinic visit scheduling, and interaction closures. 
  • Conduct quality checks for accuracy and timeliness of completion and provide constructive feedback. 
  • Act as a liaison between providers, leadership, and team members, facilitating clear communication and effective delegation 
  • Assess staffing needs, determining the adequate number of staff necessary to provide quality patient care. 
  • Facilitate and conduct department meetings, one-on-ones and employee reviews. 
  • Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA compliance standards. 
  • Effectively manage remote employees by coordinating day-to-day operations, setting expectations, and providing guidance. 
  • Support training efforts and create/update departmental training materials and communications. 
  • Achieve departmental KPIs and quality metrics, including call reviews and performance improvements. 


What We’re Looking For:

  • 2 - 5 years in Operational Management. 
  • Prior experience in healthcare, contact center operations, and training is a plus. 
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and lead teams engaged in member-facing interactions. 
  • Strong work ethic with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Self-motivated and solution-oriented, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective resolutions. 
  • Exceptional multitasking skills, capable of staying composed under pressure. 
  • Proficiency operations technology paired with solid business acumen.
