POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Director, Corporate Accounting, will plan and direct all accounting activities of the Regent Surgical corporate accounting team including monthly close process, analysis and financial reporting for all corporate departments as well as ownership of monthly consolidation process. In addition, this position supervises the financial system’s function for the finance team.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the corporate accounting function, including general ledger, consolidation, revenue recognition, fixed assets, cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and intercompany transactions.
  • Direct the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements and internal management reporting.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce corporate accounting policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with U.S. GAAP, evolving accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Partner with CFO, Controller, and other leadership to support strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and financial planning activities
  • Develop and maintain internal controls around corporate accounting function.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external Regent stakeholders, external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies. 
  • Mentor and lead a high-performing accounting and financial system team(s); foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead system and process improvements, including automation, reporting and ERP enhancements, to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years’ corporate accounting experience, with 5+ years’ experience in a supervisory/leadership role.
  • Consolidation, equity method and joint venture accounting experience preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
