About the role


The ideal candidate should be motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about technology. The Internal Applications Administrator will be a team player who collaborates across various levels of the organization to maintain and enhance the performance of internal business applications. This position ensures high availability and optimal operation of critical systems, including SharePoint, ticketing platforms, financial systems, and other enterprise tools. The Administrator will also identify opportunities to improve system efficiencies while aligning with organizational goals.

What you'll do


Application Management and Support:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain internal business applications to ensure availability and performance.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for application-related incidents and service requests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Monitor and manage application upgrades, patches, and system integrations.

User Training and Enablement:

  • Develop and deliver user training programs and documentation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for feedback on application functionality and usability.

Process Improvement and Optimization:

  • Identify and implement automation and integration opportunities across systems to streamline operations.
  • Support cross-departmental initiatives by optimizing workflows within applications.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards related to IT systems and data security.
  • Ensure managed platforms align with established and ongoing cybersecurity best practices and Regent and Industry standards

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to enterprise applications.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
    • 3–5 years in a similar role involving enterprise application management.
    • Proven experience with platforms such as SharePoint, Fresh Service/ServiceNow/Jira, and financial systems.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, including SharePoint and Teams.
    • Experience with process automation tools (e.g., Power Automate) and system integrations.
    • Experience with ticketing systems and Liquid programing language
    • Familiarity with ITIL principles and best practices.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
