Mobilization Events Organizer

ABOUT RELENTLESS

Relentless is an organizing company focused on unlocking political power through relational organizing. Relational organizing is the simple, proven concept that people talking to their friends and family is more effective than strangers talking to strangers. Our flagship product, Rally, is a social graph, power-mapping tool, and program management platform that makes running scaled relational programs simple. Our in-house program team brings their deep experience to supercharge the programs that run on Rally and mobilize communities at scale to have meaningful conversations, get out the vote, and so much more.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In 2024, Relentless is running a first-of-its-kind compensated relational program at scale across battleground states using Rally. This program will hire 20,000+ low turnout voters to become relational organizers in their communities and turn their friends and families out to vote. Relentless does this through high energy, community-focused and educational virtual events that move participants to action and change their relationship to democracy. Our virtual mobilization events provide participants with an experience of enthusiasm, support, and confidence for the work they are doing—so they can continue to be trusted messengers to their communities.

Mobilization Event Organizer (MEO) is a full-time role primarily responsible for leading these large virtual events with 50-75+ participants per session. The MEO for each state will also, at times, act as a liaison between the State Mobilization Events Manager and a team of up to 20 part-time Mobilization Event Leads (MELs).

A great Mobilization Events Organizer is someone who is an energetic presenter, a responsible communicator, and a natural team leader. A great Mobilization Events Organizer will enjoy motivating people to get out the vote, multitask with ease during live virtual events, and take initiative to help their team members succeed by assisting with training and team management.
