Job Description

We are seeking a Junior accountant to join our team. The Ideal candidate will be handling the necessary roles to insure the accuracy of the accounting system data; including but not limited to accurate data entry, maintaining financial reports, as well as providing the necessary accounting support and information as required by the company.

Responsibilities
  • Handle bank and vendor reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Book transactions in a timely and accurate manner while maintaining proper documentation filing.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly management reports for financial analysis and decision-making purposes.
  • Generate A/P aging reports and coordinate payments issuance while also preparing A/R aging reports and following-up on overdue collections with related parties.
  • Possess knowledge of General Ledger from basic Bookkeeping/Accounting to presentation and preparation of Financial Statements.
  • Work with external Tax Accountants for the preparation of the company's Financial Statements for tax purposes.
  • Interpret legal documents, contracts, and leases in a concise and organized manner, and relay findings to owners for timely and thorough resolution of critical matters.
  • Prepare and bill tax escalations for multiple commercial/retail tenants.
  • Coordinate and execute monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation for reporting to senior management.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in the standard suite of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Google Suite.

  • Pays close attention to details.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in the related field
