The Opportunity
We are seeking a Director of Product Management, Growth, to lead the development and expansion of our property management product suite. This pivotal role will focus on capturing the significant opportunity within the landlord segment, which will shape the future of RentSpree.
Today's primary user base is real estate agents who utilize our tenant screening software. Your key challenge will be to leverage those existing relationships and seamlessly bring the landlords whom the agents represent into our rent payment tool as well as adopt future property management solutions. You'll understand the needs of landlords, define the product vision, and execute strategies to drive adoption and growth within this critical market. This role will lead and guide three product managers who are in Bangkok, Thailand.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with User Research, Design, and Engineering to pinpoint key opportunities within the leasing journey. Drive the product roadmap in alignment with RentSpree's strategic goals.
- Prioritize growth opportunities. Develop and communicate a clear product vision aligned with the company's broader objectives.
- Make impactful decisions influencing high-level business metrics. Measure outcomes, extract key learnings, and share insights across the organization.
- Lead, organize, and execute effectively within two time zones (PST and Thailand GMT+7). Maintain RentSpree's competitive edge by ensuring product alignment with market trends and industry standards.
- Proactively identify opportunities and drive innovation, thriving in a dynamic, adaptable environment. Solve problems creatively for optimal efficiency.
- Use data, market research, and competitor analysis to shape product direction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for informed decisions.
- Work closely with marketing to optimize landlord acquisition and growth initiatives.
- Author clear product briefs and requirements. Contribute to the product backlog and manage project scope, dependencies, communication, and stakeholder alignment.
- Manage and mentor three product managers in Thailand. Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
Skills & Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in product management, with 5+ years of experience leading people in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in customer acquisition, conversion, and monetization, particularly in a product-led environment
- Data and metric-driven with an ability to focus on the right set of OKRs that tie back to business outcomes and the product roadmap
- Proven ability to lead through influence, hold product managers accountable, and manage, coach, and develop people
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary for implementing ideas and driving strategies in a rapidly changing environment
- Passion for ensuring new experiences meet customer needs and align with business strategy and overall goals for growth
- Ability to support evening hours (5-7 pm PT / winter 4-6p PT) to coordinate effectively with teams in Thailand; Our ideal candidate is located on the US West Coast (PST)
