Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack - Bangkok (hybrid)

RentSpree is looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to help lead the development of core consumer and business-facing product experiences, with a strong focus on third-party integrations across external vendors and partners. You will build high-impact features end-to-end — from backend APIs to polished interfaces — ensuring fast, intuitive, and reliable experiences for millions of users.

As a senior engineer, you will drive complex initiatives from idea to delivery, collaborate closely with product and technical partners, and mentor engineers to elevate technical excellence across the team.

This position is hybrid (2–3 days/week) and based in our Bangkok office.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end development of user-facing features across frontend and backend systems
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate customer needs into thoughtful, scalable solutions
  • Drive technical decision-making and execution on complex initiatives
  • Contribute to and shape our engineering standards, architecture, and tooling
  • Mentor other engineers and contribute to the growth of engineering culture and technical excellence
  • Balance delivery speed with quality, making pragmatic choices around trade-offs
  • Communicate directly with U.S.-based partners and engineering teams to clarify technical requirements, resolve issues, and coordinate deployments

Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, including leadership on high-impact projects
  • Proven ability to ship production features end-to-end — system design, frontend UI, APIs, and backend services
  • Expertise in frontend technologies: React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Webpack/Vite, Next.js or similar frameworks
  • Experience with backend technologies: Node.js, NestJS, Spring Framework, Kotlin, GraphQL/REST APIs, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
  • Strong experience building production-level integrations with external partners, identity providers, or third-party services
  • Proven ability to drive technical direction and architecture across cross-functional teams
  • Strong product sense and empathy for end users
  • Experience mentoring engineers and helping grow technical capabilities within a team
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments with evolving requirements
  • Advanced English communication skills and ability to work directly with international teams or external engineering organizations
