About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled & enthusiastic Technical Project Manager to assist our Feeds and Integrations team.
The Integrations Technical Project Manager ensures the successful planning, coordination, implementation, and launch of new feed and integration projects. This role combines project management, client communication, team collaboration, and quality assurance. This role focuses on gathering data requirements, coordinating technical implementation, validating data accuracy, and ensuring reliable ongoing system performance. The Integrations Technical Project Manager works closely with clients, integrations developers, project managers, and support teams to ensure integrations are implemented correctly, launched successfully, and maintained efficiently, while reporting to the Project Manager of Feeds & Integrations.
This is a hybrid/remote position, all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, however preferential consideration may be given to individuals who can report to Rentsync’s office 2 days per week.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Project Management & Implementation
- Lead end-to-end management of new feed and integration setups from kickoff through launch.
- Work closely with clients to gather and document data requirements, data mappings, and channel-specific needs (rental listings, websites, etc.).
- Develop project timelines, define milestones, and proactively manage deliverables with internal stakeholders to ensure on-time launches.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the integration setup process, providing regular updates and clear expectations.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with integrations developers to ensure accurate data connections and output.
- Manage internal and external QA approvals before pushing integrations live.
- Work closely with website project managers, account managers, support team, and clients to ensure smooth handoffs from implementation to ongoing support.
Support & Troubleshooting
- Serve as key point of contact for new integration setups, and support with integration-related issues and change requests, resolving tickets in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate with clients via email and online meetings.
- Investigate data discrepancies and errors, and escalate to development team when necessary.
- Provide clear communication to internal teams and clients regarding issue status, resolution, and prevention.
Quality Assurance
- Test new integrations, updates, and enhancements to ensure functionality and accuracy prior to launch.
- Conduct thorough internal QA and partner with clients on validation to confirm data displays correctly across all intended channels.
- Monitor live integrations for data accuracy, reliability, and performance.
- Document bugs, errors, and quality findings, collaborating with technical teams for resolution.
- Provide feedback on product enhancements based on recurring implementation challenges, support cases, and QA findings.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in technical project management or technical support, specifically working with integrations, APIs, webhooks, or data feeds.
- Experience managing client-facing technical projects from kickoff to launch.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of data feed structures (XML, JSON), APIs, webhooks, and general integration architecture.
- Familiarity with tools and technical concepts such as Postman, website scrapers, and basic JavaScript (considered an asset).
- Excellent communication skills for working with both technical teams and non-technical clients.
- Experience working with Zapier connections and automations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in SaaS, digital marketing, or data integration environments is an asset.
- Experience working with large volumes of data (real estate or rental housing data is a major asset, but not required)
- Bilingual (English/French)
- Able to report to Rentsync's regional offices 2 days per week
