About the role

We are seeking a PHP developer with 5 years+ hands on development experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable, high-performance web applications using PHP

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP (Laravel or CodeIgniter preferred).
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Work with databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) for data-driven applications.
• Integrate third-party APIs and web services.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional PHP development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one PHP framework (Laravel or CodeIgniter).
• Solid understanding of OOP, MVC design patterns, and RESTful API development.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend libraries (React or Angular preferred).
• Strong database knowledge (MySQL/PostgreSQL); experience with query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with version control (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Experience with Node.js (Express.js) for backend services.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker).
