We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. This role will play a critical part in developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness, grow market presence, and support sales goals. The ideal candidate will work closely with the VP of Sales to drive sales initiatives, create impactful marketing materials, and optimize sales strategies for both new and existing customers.


Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Brand Development

  • Develop and implement an overarching marketing strategy to elevate brand awareness and growth.
  • Expand brand presence through various outlets, media platforms, and industry partners (e.g., Pet Food Forum, Pet Food Processing).
  • Develop selling and marketing materials, including sales decks, ad slicks, sell sheets, and other collateral.
  • Lead the relaunch of NutriPure as a core brand within IP, including updates to samples, packaging, and a defined sampling strategy.
  • Oversee website updates with the support of external marketing agencies, ensuring continuous improvement and relevance.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Work with the VP of Sales to define sales strategies for new and existing customers to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate on the development of sales and marketing KPIs to drive accountability and track performance.
  • Populate and maintain monthly scorecards, identifying key insights and forward actions.
  • Analyze and review relevant sales and marketing reports to assess effectiveness and inform strategy adjustments.
  • Identify gaps, overlaps, and inefficiencies within IP to improve overall productivity and effectiveness.

Event & Conference Planning

  • Develop a conference strategy, including key messaging, booth design, banners, sponsorship levels, and overall event execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of professional sales experience and business development, preferably within the pet food, agriculture, or ingredient industries.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Presentations)
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate verbally and written throughout all levels of an organization; internally and externally.
  • Experience working with media platforms, industry trade shows, and partnerships.
  • Familiarity with website management and working with external marketing agencies.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess sales and marketing performance.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Travel:

  • Employee will be required to travel up to 75%
