Restart, Inc. is a Minnesota-based nonprofit organization founded in 1986, dedicated to providing Housing with Services, and Independent Living Skills Services for individuals living with brain injuries and related disabilities. Our mission is to empower clients by teaching them strategies for daily living and facilitating their reentry into the community.
About the role
Restart Inc. is looking for experienced group home Program Coordinators for our facilities in South Minneapolis. Successful candidates will enjoy a fast paced environment and the opportunity to work with clients who have minimal physical care needs.
Responsibilities
- This person will provide medical appointment support and coordination, along with programmatic support and coordination.
- The position is on a rotating, 2-week on call schedule and applicant must be able to handle emergency situations
- Onboard new employees following site specific regulations
- Plan activities that engage the residents
- Work along side the Site Manager daily in one location serving up to nine individuals coordinating all medical, financial and programming needs
- Work confidently with various team members and advocate for the best outcomes for the persons you serve.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to self-direct task prioritization.
- Candidates must be experienced in MA and other benefit programs along with SSI and other available disability programs.
- A valid drivers license is required.
- Program Coordinators should possess 2 years managing experience, be very detail orientated and technology savvy.
