The role

As a Senior Finance Consultant, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between complex financial requirements and SAP system capabilities. Your role involves gathering user business requirements and understanding the specific needs and functionalities of SAP product modules. You will not only define and document these requirements but also configure SAP to reflect them accurately in functional design specifications. Furthermore, you'll play a crucial role in setting up initial configurations, security settings relevant to finance, and customising reporting options. Your expertise will ensure that the finance processes and reporting capabilities are fully integrated and optimised within SAP, requiring you to provide ongoing functional support and collaborate closely with both technical teams and clients to enhance system performance and meet specific financial objectives.

  • Gather and analyse user business requirements to understand key financial operations and needs

  • Configure ERP modules to translate complex financial requirements into system functionalities

  • Document business requirements and validate these solutions with clients to ensure alignment with their financial strategies

  • Define initial system settings, including module-specific security parameters and financial reporting mechanisms

  • Identify and recommend system modifications to improve financial processes and integration within the ERP system

  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for ERP financial modules to maintain system efficiency and accuracy

  • Collaborate with technical teams and clients to resolve functional issues and adapt the ERP system to evolving financial needs.

Resulting traits

We pride ourselves on hiring the best people - but best doesn’t have to mean a big 4 background and an Oxbridge education.

You can’t roll up your sleeves when you’re wearing cufflinks - and Resulting people get stuck in. They’re positive, adaptable, and always deliver to a high standard.

Positivity is about being optimistic. It applies to you and the people you work with- be that a colleague, customer or partner. But positive also means being certain in your views and enthusiastic about driving success.

Adaptability means being able to change shape to deal with different circumstances. Often new and different approaches may be better, even if they’re unfamiliar.

High standards demand clear, original thought. Our customers pay us massive sums - Lamborghini money - for the work we do. It should be worth every penny.

Resulting Ltd is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive work environment that encourages diversity. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment and discrimination in all our operations, including our focused SAP projects.
