Mission statement

  • An understanding of Finance processes having previously worked in a Finance or Accounting role

  • Has delivered a complex S/4 Finance programme for multi country/sites and companies with an understanding of how SAP supports business processes

  • Worked with CFO and Heads of Finance to deliver SAP centric Finance solutions

  • Can demonstrate contributing to successful consulting proposals for S/4HANA programmes

  • Has up sold finance resources into a S/4 Programme

  • Able to identify and recruit other A-Players.

The role 

In essence, the role of a SAP Process Consultant is that of a translator. You need to translate the requirements of the Finance department, be that business process or system, and turn that into a business solution that finance users can perform in a simple, easy to follow manner.

You will be at the forefront of designing and guiding the implementation of comprehensive SAP finance solutions that align with our clients' strategic financial objectives. In this senior role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of SAP Financials to design robust, scalable financial systems that integrate seamlessly with other enterprise components.  Your responsibilities extend to leading high-level discussions on financial systems strategy, advising on best practices, and ensuring the financial architecture meets current and future business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Working with business teams, document current finance processes

  • Lead workshops to determine the to-be design of SAP finance processes, ensuring alignment with business strategies

  • Clearly and simply document client journeys with a narrative on how to deliver the requirements roadmap

  • Drive the integration of SAP Financials with other SAP modules and external systems

  • Advise senior stakeholders on SAP finance strategy and best practices

  • Ensure the financial architecture supports both current and future business needs

  • Mentor SAP finance functional consultants, fostering a culture of excellence

  • Facilitate strategic discussions on financial system enhancements and innovations

  • Oversee the development and implementation of scalable financial solutions.
