Mission statement

  • Experience of working in a consulting environment role and leading data integration projects

  • Experienced in either a direct customer or customer facing SAP Data Architecture roles

  • Experience of delivering at least 2 full lifecycle of SAP transformation projects

  • Demonstrable expertise in SAP Data Architecture requirement capturing and design

  • Proven experience of managing and tracking data design, build, load and validation

  • Proven track record of managing relationships with senior stakeholders and working with system integrators

  • Ability to drive decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication

  • Experience of sourcing, recruiting and developing A-Players.


The role 

The SAP Data Architect is the central figure in designing and building the foundation for how data flows through an organisation's SAP systems. They act as a bridge between the business world and the technical world, translating business needs into a strategic data architecture that drives informed decision-making, improves operational efficiency, and ensures regulatory compliance.  In this role, you will wear many hats, from architect and data modeller to data governance champion and integration specialist. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies like SAP S/4HANA and play a critical role in shaping the future of the organisation's data landscape.


Responsibilities: 

  • Design and develop logical and physical data models for SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA

  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data management

  • Develop data governance strategies and procedures for SAP data

  • Implement data quality processes to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data

  • Design and implement data integration solutions for SAP systems with other enterprise applications

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest SAP data management technologies and best practices

  • Document data architecture designs and specifications

  • Assist in the selection and implementation of SAP data management tools.
