Position Overview

REsurety is looking for a motivated individual with strong programming or data analysis skills seeking to be part of the cleantech revolution. As an intern on the Analytics team, you will learn fundamentals of the renewable energy market, become familiar with financial concepts that power the clean energy revolution, and migrate our data ingestion system for contract auditing. This internship will ultimately help with the development of tools that enable a more accurate valuation of clean energy projects and their emissions impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Learning data structures and data ingestion requirements
• Developing and testing KNIME workflows
• Document data ingestion process for future maintenance
• Collaborating with analysts to design parsing and data validation rules

Preferred Experience and Qualifications 

• Major in physics, math, meteorology, environmental science, or a related field (community college students are encouraged to apply)
• Strong data manipulation skills
• Basic coding skills (preferred: Python, R, GUI coding like KNIME / Alteryx)
• Strong research and communication skills
• Self-motivated & detail-oriented: capable of executing complex analyses with little oversight
• Interest in increasing the adoption of clean energy
• Must be registered with MassCEC

• Our organization works on a hybrid model. We are in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at our downtown Boston building, remote optional on Wednesdays and Fridays.
