About the role

As Vice President of Market Access Account Services, you are a hands-on leader who drives both the strategy and execution of our market access business. You operate as a true partner to your clients and your team by rolling up your sleeves to move work forward, solve problems in real time and ensure high-quality delivery across client deliverables and initiatives. 

Sitting at the intersection of payer, trade, and patient access you translate complex market dynamics into clear, actionable plans and stay closely involved to ensure those plans are executed effectively. You are not just guiding the work you are in it shaping deliverables, you will drive market access– brand and tactical planning, aligning clients and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and measurable impact. With a strong grasp of account dynamics, you’ll mobilize the right resources, manage budgets with precision, and deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions. 

 You will drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver solutions, while actively developing and strengthening account talent through hands-on guidance. In this role, you will deepen client relationships, expand business opportunities, and help advance the evolution of our market access offering. 

What you'll do

  • Understand account dynamics and have the ability to mobilize resources to most effectively meet client requirements.  
  • Liaise between the agency and client to establish goals and budget, and ensure the receipt of quality, cost-effective solutions.   
  • Fiscal responsibility for client budget and expense reporting.  
  • Work with senior account leads to develop strategic marketing goals based on market access strategy planning as well as analyze critical marketplace data.   
  • Ensure all deliverables align with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client expectations by embedding compliance rigor across all aspects of account delivery 
  • Continually build knowledge of Payer, Trade and Patient Support programs and apply that knowledge to help drive impactful cost-effective client deliverables Monitor and proactively identify upcoming challenges that may impact the client. 
  • Collaborate closely with the cross-functional agency team, taking a leadership role to inspire and guide the team in generating innovative ideas. 
  • Successfully coach and mentor junior account team members and inspire others to be passionate. 

Requirements

  • 8+ years of pharmaceutical agency experience  
  • 5+ years of market access experience including market access strategy planning 
  • Experience facilitating and running ad boards 
  • 3+ years of HUB design and deliverable design 
  • Experience managing client relationships across a book of business 
  • Outstanding communication skills: oral, written, and interpersonal 
  • Experience in Veeva (or other client MLR) and Ziflow (or other digital routing) platforms 
  • Proficient in all Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PPTAbility to use AI driven platforms (e.g., ChatGPT or similar private platform) to enhance productivity and drive improved efficiency, while ensuring all work is accurate, original, and aligned with agency standards.

The pay range for this role is:

160,000 - 190,000 USD per year (New Jersey)
