Role: Manager, Client Reporting

Location: Remote. Must work in a location within the United States.

Travel: Less than 10%

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: Client Success Leadership

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience 




About the Role

The Manager, Client Reporting plays a critical role in the delivery of client-facing reporting solutions and the continuous improvement of internal data operations. This role bridges the gap between technical data analysis and client success, with a focus on driving insights through clean, elegant, and actionable reporting. This working manager role will lead a team of analysts and will collaborate closely with stakeholders across client success, services, product and engineering to ensure the successful execution of client reporting strategies.


responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery and continuous improvement of scheduled and ad-hoc client reporting packages, dashboards, and data visualizations for both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and lead the Data Analysts, supporting their professional growth and ensuring timely, accurate data outputs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client data needs and translate them into scalable, repeatable reporting solutions.
  • Utilize SQL and other data tools to access, transform, and analyze complex datasets from multiple sources.
  • Translate complex client and internal stakeholder requests into clear, actionable, and easy-to-understand reporting outputs. The ability to interpret ambiguous or evolving requests, identify the true business need, and deliver insightful reports that align with client expectations.
  • Ensure high-quality data standards by implementing validation checks and quality assurance processes across reporting workflows.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and other tools that help internal and external stakeholders monitor key revenue cycle and performance metrics.
  • Develop documentation and training materials for internal teams on reporting capabilities and interpretation.
  • Present reporting insights to leaders, explaining complex revenue cycle metrics in understandable terms.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the intersection of data analytics and client success, providing strategic insights to support client outcomes.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to improve data infrastructure and drive operational efficiency in reporting delivery.
  • Bring an agile and engineering mindset to address complex problems, identify opportunities and craft creative solutions.

requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, client reporting, or business intelligence, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience querying large, complex datasets; proficiency in SQL is highly preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Quicksight, Domo).
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong preference for revenue cycle management knowledge.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills—ability to distill complex data into compelling stories and visualizations.
  • Experience leading and mentoring data analysts.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing or client-success role is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment is preferred.

Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to: moving or handling (lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching overhead) office equipment and supplies weighing 1 to 25 lbs. unassisted.  Frequently required to sit for extended periods during the workday.  Manual dexterity and visual acuity required.  Must be able to communicate effectively on the telephone and in person.
