Role: Director, Revenue Cycle Services

Location: Remote. Must work in a location within the United States.

Travel: Up to 50%

Classification: Salaried, Exempt

Reports to: Chief Revenue Cycle Officer

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience 




about the role

The Director, Revenue Cycle Services is responsible for overseeing and managing the full end to end revenue cycle operations and services provided by Revology. You will be responsible for leading teams and ensuring efficient and effective execution across the entirety of the revenue cycle inclusive of front-end, middle and back-end functions.


responsibilities

  • Manage and support daily operations of assigned revenue cycle teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery, timely task execution, and alignment with established workflows, KPIs, and service standards.
  • Execute on strategic initiatives and performance goals set by the leadership, ensuring internal operational efficiency and external service delivery meet or exceed expectations for profitability and SLA compliance.
  • Apply strong knowledge of front-end, middle, and back-end revenue cycle processes to coach team members, resolve escalations, and identify areas for workflow optimization or automation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for client communications, maintaining strong relationships, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring service expectations are met.
  • Partner with the Client Reporting team to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery of standard reporting packages, and support client understanding of key insights and performance metrics.
  • Monitor revenue cycle performance dashboards and team outputs, escalating trends, risks, or improvement opportunities with supporting data and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and policy requirements, reinforcing adherence to HIPAA, HITECH, and Revology’s internal standards through oversight, training, and monitoring.
  • Communicate regularly with cross-functional and frontline teams to clarify goals, reinforce process adherence, and support collaboration across service areas.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or equivalent experience. 
  • 5+ years of healthcare consulting/management experience or leadership experience
  • Must have an ability to motivate and lead a team to perform at a high level; previous people leadership experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An aptitude for problem-solving, patience and flexibility while working in the complex industry of healthcare revenue cycle. 
  • Ability to comfortably navigate and lead a team in a technology-focused environment.
  • Enthusiasm to collaborate with other team members and contribute to a positive work environment for all.

Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to: moving or handling (lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching overhead) office equipment and supplies weighing 1 to 25 lbs. unassisted.  Frequently required to sit for extended periods during the workday.  Manual dexterity and visual acuity required.  Must be able to communicate effectively on the telephone and in person.
