Role: Senior Project Manager

Location: Remote. Must work in a location within the United States.

Travel: Up to 10%

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: Chief Technology Officer

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience




About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead our engineering team in delivering the products in our Auxo platform using the lean software development and Kanban methodologies. You’ll be responsible for facilitating efficient workflows, removing blockers and ensuring our teams deliver value consistently while maintaining technical excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of Auxo products using Kanban methodology.
  • Facilitate daily standups, retrospectives and continuous improvement sessions.
  • Monitor and optimize workflow through Kanban boards, identifying and eliminating bottlenecks.
  • Work closely with engineering leads to balance workloads and maintain optimal work-in-progress limits.
  • Track project metrics including cycle time, lead time and throughput to drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with Product Strategy to prioritize work items and manage expectations.
  • Ensure clear communication between technical teams and Product Strategy.
  • Manage project timelines, dependencies, and risks proactively.
  • Foster a culture of continuous delivery and incremental improvement.
  • Support the team in adopting and refining engineering processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing software development projects, specifically web application applications.
  • Proven experience with lean software development and Kanban methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency with Jira for project tracking and workflow management.
  • Working knowledge of GitHub and modern version control practices.
  • Understanding of modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing and code review processes.
  • Experience working directly with engineering teams in an iterative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong problem solving abilities and proactive approach to removing impediments.
  • Track record of successful web application delivery.
  • Certification in Kanban Management (KMP) preferred but not required.


Remote work requirements

Internet capability must be a high speed connection of 40 Mbps speeds or greater.


Physical requirements

Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to: moving or handling (lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching overhead) office equipment and supplies weighing 1 to 25 lbs. unassisted.  Frequently required to sit for extended periods during the workday.  Manual dexterity and visual acuity required.  Must be able to communicate effectively on the telephone and in person.


Working conditions

Work will generally be performed indoors in an office environment.  Must maintain a professional appearance and manner.
