Position Summary:


Revolution Space is currently seeking to fill a Program Planning & Control Analyst position supporting our Program Execution Organization.

 

The position is full-time, on-site in Boston, and available to be filled immediately. 


Responsibilities:


  • Perform tasks related to budgeting, planning, tracking and cost/financial analysis.
  • Should have a full understanding of the Subcontractor process from RFQ to de-obligation of funds.
  • Manage multiple tasks and program managers with competing priority levels.
  • Participate in the planning, tracking, analysis and reporting of projects.
  • Participate in the development of budgets that lead to the establishment of a cost/schedule baselines.
  • Track project costs and commitments, schedule performance, and monitors performance against the baseline with full variance analysis and explanation.
  • Review and approve purchase orders & invoices for Subcontractors & Consultants.
  • Responsible for Pricing of customer RFPs, ROMs, Re-alignments, program ETC / EAC
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required. of managing government contracts.
  • Up to 15% business travel required to company and customer locations.
  • Be detail oriented, highly organized and self-starting.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or similar discipline with 5-8 years related experience in program planning/cost controls. Master Degree a plus.
  • Good communication (oral and written) skills and the ability to establish and maintain a close relationship with internal and external customers as well as work independently and take a proactive role to assure that items are completed on or ahead of schedule.
  • Must have a complete and current understanding of government cost principles along with demonstrated expert knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and FAR supplements including NFS and DFARS.
  • Experience with complex Department of Defense (DoD) and NASA contracts; contract types include but are not limited to CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, Cost Reimbursable, T&M, FFP and OTA’s
  • Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office to include – Word and Excel..
  • Working knowledge ERP system (s) ( Deltek Costpoin, NetSuite and/or MS Dynamics) a plus.
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
