About the Role
Revv has an exciting opportunity for a Vice President of People (“VP of People”). The VP of people
serves both as a key member of and a strategic partner to the executive team, while setting and
leading the talent strategy. In addition, the VP of People will invest in building the infrastructure
responsible for promoting continued strategic growth and employee experience. We are looking for
a hands-on builder who is passionate about navigating the gray areas of a start-up related to
culture, performance, and scale.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the executive team to establish the company as a best-in-class
organization, building People strategies that align with the company’s culture, mission, and
goals
• Champion Revv's culture, mission and goals by embedding into the People program and
internal initiatives, while creating systems to measure and track employee engagement and
satisfaction
• Lead organizational development initiatives aligned with business goals, including
workforce planning, succession planning, and change management
• Own all internal, company-wide communications, fostering transparency and actively
engaging employees to ensure they feel informed, connected, and aligned with company
goals and updates
• Construct a comprehensive people program and supporting infrastructure that spans the
full 360-degree employee lifecycle, integrating robust HR systems, data analytics, and
process automation
• Design and implement scalable performance management and career development
frameworks, fostering continuous growth and clear progression pathways for employees
• Develop and implement level-based compensation and benefits strategies, ensuring
alignment with organizational goals and market dataQualifications
Professional:
• Proven record scaling an early-stage software startup autonomously
• Experience partnering with and designing People programs tailored for GTM & EPD
organizations
• Demonstrated ability to confidently navigate all People team functional areas including;
HRBP, Talent, and broader people strategy (e.g. compensation & leveling, manager training,
culture, DEIB, etc.)
• Experience working closely with the CEO, executive team, and cross-functionally to further
develop strategy for and build out the organization as a strategic business partner
• Track record as a flexible leader - you can operate at a highly strategic level, but can also
perform scrappy HR-related duties
Personal:
• High IQ/EQ with an empathetic and clear communication style; while being direct as
needed
• Proven ability to flex between setting strategy, building for scale, and executing
• Ability to coach and mentor direct reports, peers, and executive leaders on sound People
practices
Benefits
• Compensation: $210,000 - $240,000 + Equity
